Avalanche transceivers

Avalanche transceivers send a signal while you tour and, switched to search, help you find buried companions. They all transmit on the international standard frequency of 457 kHz, so devices from different brands can find each other. Consider how easy a device is to use under stress: three antennas give clearer guidance in the final search, and a marking function helps with several burials. Practise searching regularly.
