Backcountry Access (BCA) is an American avalanche safety brand founded in Boulder, Colorado, in 1994. K2 Sports acquired BCA in 2013, and it is part of Elevate Outdoor Collective, a group of winter sports brands that includes K2; in 2024 the company announced it would move its operations from Boulder to the Seattle area.
Its range covers Tracker avalanche transceivers, Float avalanche airbag packs including electric E2 models, Stealth probes and Dozer shovels, as well as BC Link radios and snow study tools. BCA launched its Float avalanche airbag line in 2010.
