Italy · Founded 1889
CAMP, short for Costruzione Articoli Montagna Premana, is an Italian maker of climbing and mountaineering equipment. It began in 1889 as the blacksmith shop of Nicola Codega in Premana, in the province of Lecco, where the company has its headquarters, and it is led by the fourth generation of the Codega family.
Its outdoor range covers ice axes and crampons, harnesses, helmets, carabiners and quickdraws, belay devices, dynamic ropes, via ferrata sets, chalk and chalk bags, poles for hiking, trail running and ski touring, and packs including the Trail Force running vests. A separate Work division makes equipment for work at height.
