Alpkit

Alpkit is a British outdoor brand formed in 2004 and based in Newthorpe, Nottinghamshire. It sells directly online and through its own stores, alongside the Sonder bike and Trakke bag brands. In January 2026 it briefly went into administration and was bought by a new investor through a pre-pack process; it trades as Alpkit Group Ltd.

Its range spans tents, sleeping bags and mats, stoves, cookware, camp furniture and head torches, walking boots and shoes, waterproof and insulated jackets, midlayers, base layers, trousers, socks, backpacks and trekking poles, plus running vests, chalk bags, bikepacking bags, bike lights and cycling clothing. According to Alpkit, it makes part of its range itself in Britain, on the edge of the Peak District.
