Ocun

Ocún is a Czech climbing brand founded in 1998, when the company behind the Rock Pillars climbing shoe brand launched harnesses and boulder mats under the new name. Its founder is Pavel Hendrych, who began making harnesses in 1988, and the brand belongs to RP Climbing s.r.o., with its European headquarters in Mnichovo Hradiště.

Its range covers climbing shoes, harnesses, carabiners and quickdraws, belay devices, via ferrata sets, slings, climbing helmets, chalk and chalk bags, crash pads and climbing clothing for sport climbing, bouldering, multi-pitch climbing and via ferrata. Ocún states that climbing shoes such as the Jett QC are handmade in the Czech Republic.
