Running headlamps

Running headlamps need to sit still on the move and light the ground far enough ahead at running pace. Look for a balanced design, often with the battery at the back of the head, and a strap that does not bounce. Consider burn time at the brightness you need for a race's night section, and how quickly batteries swap. Race rules may also require a spare light.
