Scarpa
Italy · Founded 1938
Scarpa is an Italian outdoor footwear maker founded in 1938 and based in Asolo, in the province of Treviso. The Parisotto family has owned the company since 1956, when Luigi Parisotto and three brothers bought it; the family keeps majority control through its holding company, and the investment company Nuo has held a minority stake since 2024.
Its range covers hiking boots and shoes, mountaineering boots, climbing shoes, trail running shoes and ski touring boots, as well as approach and telemark footwear. Most of its manufacturing takes place in Italy's Veneto footwear district, and it also has its own factories in Romania and Serbia.
