Boreal is a Spanish mountain footwear brand founded in 1975 by Jesús García López in Villena, Alicante, an area with a long history of footwear manufacturing. The company, Calzados Boreal S.L., describes itself as a family business and is headquartered in Villena.

Its range includes rock climbing shoes, trekking and mountaineering boots, approach and walking shoes, trail running shoes and chalk bags. Boreal states that it produces all of its footwear at its own facilities in Villena.
