Nordisk

Nordisk traces its roots to Nordisk Fjerfabrik, a down and feather company founded in Copenhagen in 1901 by H.O. Lange, which began making sleeping bags in the early 1940s. In 2005 the Dane Erik Møller and two partners bought the business, which operates as Nordisk Company A/S with its headquarters in Silkeborg, Denmark.

Its range includes lightweight and multi-person tents, cotton glamping tents and tarps, down and synthetic sleeping bags, sleeping mats, camp furniture and cookware such as the Madam Blå pots, as well as down and shell jackets. Nordisk makes its down sleeping bags by hand in its own factory in Görlitz, Germany.
