Meindl

Meindl is a Bavarian family company based in Kirchanschöring, where members of the Meindl family have worked as shoemakers since the late 17th century. Lukas Meindl founded the present company in 1928, and Lukas Meindl GmbH & Co. KG has its headquarters in the same town.

Its range includes alpine mountaineering boots, trekking and hiking boots, lighter hiking and multi-function shoes, winter footwear, traditional shoes and a sock collection. The company states that its shoes are produced mainly in its own factories in Europe, including the plant in Kirchanschöring.
