Leki is a German maker of poles and gloves. Its history begins in 1948, when Karl and Gertrud Lenhart set up a small woodworking workshop in Dettingen unter Teck in Swabia; the first Leki ski poles followed in 1970, the name standing for Lenhart aus Kirchheim. The family company, LEKI Lenhart GmbH, is based in Kirchheim unter Teck.
Its range includes telescopic, folding and alpine trekking poles, trail running poles, Nordic walking poles, cross-country and ski touring poles, and gloves for skiing, ski touring, trail running and hiking. According to the company, most Leki poles are made at its own factory in Tachov, Czech Republic.
