Keen

Keen was founded in 2003 in Alameda, California, by Martin Keen and Rory Fuerst, and is headquartered in Portland, Oregon. The company is privately held and describes itself as family-owned.

Its outdoor range includes waterproof hiking boots and hiking shoes, such as the Targhee and Hightrail models, and trail running shoes, alongside sandals, casual shoes and work boots. Keen owns factories in Thailand, the Dominican Republic and the United States, where its American-built line is made in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.
