Merrell is an American footwear brand founded in 1981 by Clark Matis and John Schweizer, two former Rossignol executives, together with bootmaker Randy Merrell. It has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Wolverine World Wide since 1997 and is based in Rockford, Michigan.

Its range centres on hiking boots and shoes, including the Moab line, along with trail running shoes, barefoot shoes and sandals, plus clothing and socks. Wolverine World Wide states that substantially all of the units it sources come from third-party manufacturers in the Asia Pacific region.
