DMM

DMM is a Welsh manufacturer of climbing and mountaineering equipment. It was founded in 1981 as Moorhouse Engineering in Bethesda and moved in 1986 to Llanberis in north Wales, where it is based. Alongside gear for recreational climbing and mountaineering, it makes equipment for industrial work at height.

The climbing range covers carabiners and quickdraws, nuts and cams, slings, harnesses, belay devices, ice axes, chalk and chalk bags, and rope bags. DMM makes its climbing hardware at its factory in Llanberis, which includes assembly and CNC machining areas.
