AGU
Netherlands · Founded 1966
AGU is a Dutch cycling brand founded in 1966 by the Van den Kommer family, when three bicycle firms in Alkmaar joined forces as the Alkmaarse Groothandels Unie. Besides its own products, AGU B.V. distributes other cycling products. In 2024 the company was taken over by EcoMotion, the owner of the e-bike brand Qwic.
The range covers clothing for road and gravel cycling, rainwear for everyday riders, bicycle helmets, front and rear bike bags, and handlebar, frame and saddle bags for bikepacking. In 1974, as its focus moved from bicycle parts to cycling clothing and accessories, AGU brought out lightweight bicycle bags made of nylon.
