Salming is a Swedish sports brand founded by ice hockey player Börje Salming. Its company, Salming Sports AB, gives 1991 as its year of establishment and is based in Askim, Gothenburg; besides running, it makes products for floorball and handball.
For runners it offers road and trail running shoes, including the Recoil Trail, and running clothing such as running and rain jackets, tights and shorts. The company states that its production takes place mainly in China, Vietnam and Portugal, with selected suppliers, and that it owns no factories of its own.
