Exped

Exped is a Swiss outdoor equipment company headquartered in Zürich. Heidi and Andi Brun founded Exped AG in 1983 as a distributor for other outdoor brands, after spending nine months living in the Canadian wilderness, and in 1997 the company began making its own products.

Its range covers inflatable and self-inflating sleeping mats, sleeping bags and quilts, tents and tarps, and trekking and mountaineering backpacks, plus pumps, pillows and bivy bags. Its sleeping mats are made by partners including Feng Yi in Taichung, Taiwan, which has produced mats for Exped since 1997.
