Coleman is an American camping equipment brand whose history began in 1900 with a gas-powered lantern designed by W.C. Coleman; its camping stove followed in 1942 and its tents, sleeping bags and chairs in 1960. The Coleman Company is headquartered in Chicago and is owned by Newell Brands.
Its European range includes FastPitch, family, pop-up and lightweight adventure tents, mummy and rectangular sleeping bags, self-inflating mats and air beds, gas and liquid-fuel stoves, and camping chairs and tables, alongside cool boxes and kayaks. Coleman's liquid-fuel stoves use its Dual Fuel system, which runs on Coleman liquid fuel or unleaded petrol.
